This vibrant commissoned deck came to be to celebrate a die hard racer. He lives fast and is affectionately known as Panda to his peers.
The motto of him and his partner in crime is ‘‘Get Money in Abundance”. What better way to celebrate this mentality that a movie poster for their action filled life - immortalized onto a skateboard deck. This suprise went off with a bang when he received his bunny’s board for his birthday this year.
From the client’s perspective…
”Holy shit, Sam!!! IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!! I can’t stop looking at it! You are a true artist and I can’t believe how you brought this piece together! Thank you so much, I’m so happy I found you on google! This will be a piece that we proudly hang on the wall and display forever. ““
A commissioned piece for a farewell. The board was an in-joke from all the times they had shared at the workplace. I had a blast getting that sticky pink goo to stretch over all the burger parts.
I wanted to play around with some floral design for this deck. Then naturally the btterfly idea strick me as an opportunity to throw in a spin on the eyes that butterflies sometimes have on their wings.
I wanted to create a deck graphic over the weekend about the best meal of the day. Brunch. I had a blast doodling in all my favourite ingredients and cooking tools.
I look forward to more of these themed deck graphics.
This totem pole deck was an idea bursting out of me. I wanted to create a deck that was a free-flowing expression. I didn't choose the theme, just started drawing and sat by and watched as the ideas flowed out of me onto the deck.
I was commissioned to create this mashup of ideas. I was extremely happy with the composition of this deck. I was given a list of things relevant to the commission and managed to wrangle them all into one coherent design.
This deck was a fun mashup of ideas for a private commission. The inclusion of mechanical, electrical and musical interests was a fun challenge to piece together into one coherent composition. I enjoyed getting into the nitty gritty with this one for sure.
Some fantastic friends of this lucky couple came up with a unique gift for their special day.
I loved working on the items that were relevant to the married couple. It turned out to be something they were stoked to have to commemorate their special day.

Beard eating deck graphic created for the Land Yachtz skateboard art book with Last Gap and Jeral Tidwell.
A custom surf graphic I painted using poscas. The illustration was a mash-up of ideas from my mate. Mostly a free spirited, hand painted image. We shaped these boards ourselves, but got some help to glass it. So it was a locally made, artist board. Handmade, hand painted and hand shaped. Looking forward to seeing it out surfing.
A series of custom skateboard designs. Hand painted on maple decks and coated in varnish. These hand painted skate decks were illustrated in my studio in Sydney.
8Steps West commissioned me to produce some highly stressful live skatboard designs for their client IMC. I had to generate a new deck graphic within 15 minutes infront of a crowd, based on the ideas given to me by the winner.
It was a heap of fun, and extremely challenging to keep the design looking polished in such a tight timeline. I do really enjoy these live event painting gigs.

This project was designed to bring a vibrant playfulness to the mobile convenience store E-Mart van. I worked with the client to create an engaging design that created intrigue and excitement for all the products inside his portable shop.
The process reflected the brand’s energy and bright personality.
After several brainstorming sessions, we settled on bright colours, dynamic lines and a visual catalogue of the kinds of products inside the van. Anyone from a distance could see something that excited them and enticed customers.
At a festival painting live , next to the stage, on the dancefloor I created this painting over a day for the crew at Dirty Feet.
Stay tuned with their events via the RA website or via FB.
I designed this custom cicada tattoo for an insect fan. The finished chest piece was great thanks to the skilled tattoo artist who inked my work.
Someone came up with the fantastic collaboration idea for me to paint their surfboard fins! I loved this project, these were fun new surfaces to work on, and I enjoyed the psychedelic mashup that we ended up with.
This intricate calf piece was a great collab between the amazing Sprinkles from Sydney and myself. I provided the detailed animal-themed face design, and he managed to translate it incredibly well.

The artists Paparazzi and Hot.Singles collaborated on this piece in their show and lucky for them I could handle the technical task of bringing it to life.
The rest of the work from the show is over at Alpha C.K. Gallery
I was commissioned by Rob McWhinnie to do this custom downhill skateboarding helmet paint job. It was all hand painted, striped and detailed. Skulls n speed lines, dogs n typography I had a ball working on this funky skateboarding helmet.
